Crime Report Shows Declines in a Number of CategoriesVia the FBI National Incident Based Reporting System (FNIBRS) Grant County released their crime data and it shows declines, and reflects trends we are seeing in other areas. Crimes Against PersonsCrimes against persons include murder, rape, assault, and the sub-categories of manslaughter, child rape, sodomy etc. For 2023-2025 there were a total of 7 murders, 2 in 2023, 2 in 2024 and 3 in 2025. They are seeing increases in drug-related offenses, which represented the largest jump over the three year timespan.
