Merseyside Police's Firearms Investigation Team (FIT) are continuing to appeal for information following the shooting in May. At 2.50pm on Sunday, May 24, police were called to Pottery Lane, next to Stadt Moers Park in Whiston, to reports of two men in their 20s being found with gunshot wounds. This might include sightings of people acting suspiciously in Stadt Moers Park or Pottery Lane around the time of the shooting, or of anyone making off from the scene.
