Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum's Rahiebb has sustained a setback and will miss the rest of the season, according to trainer Roger Varian.
Second in the G1 St Leger at three, the four-year-old son of Frankel opened his 2026 account with a win in the G2 Yorkshire Cup Stakes in May.
Well beaten in Scandinavia (Justify)'s G1 Gold Cup at Royal Ascot, the bay was third to that rival and Trawlerman (Golden Horn) in the G1 Goodwood Cup Stakes on July 28.
Varian told the Press Association, “He's had a setback I'm afraid and unfortunately he won't run again this year, but hopefully he will be back next summer.
“It's a bit of a blow for the rest of this year, but hopefully we have him to look forward to for next year.”
