A forensic psychiatrist, Dr. Jhilam Biswas, testified in court during the ongoing trial of Massachusetts mom Lindsay Clancy. The defense attorney asked Biswas, “How long were you evaluating her?” The attorney asked if she was aware of Clancy’s medical history, to which she said she only had a portion of it in the medical record. Clancy’s attorney wanted to establish that the psychiatrist had limited knowledge about her case and did not know about her history. On the other hand, many believe she was under postpartum psychosis and medication effects.
