A North Braddock man who was arrested nearly five years ago in Monroeville with almost 1,000 baggies of fentanyl and heroin pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court.
Ethridge pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and heroin and one count of possessing a firearm in furtherance of that drug trafficking crime.
Around 3:25 p.m. on June 24, 2021, the investigators set up surveillance and waited for the Jeep to arrive.
Instead, the driver, later identified as Ethridge, started the SUV, reversed into a detective’s vehicle and tried to flee, police said.
Ethridge, who had four previous felony convictions, was prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition.
