Adam C. Briggs: I hope the film isn’t read as some kind of indictment of the Gold Coast, because that certainly wasn’t our intention. In the film there’s a lot of jokes that almost make you ask, “Can we make that joke?” Adam C. Briggs: I think some of my work, and especially A Grand Mockery, my previous film, could probably be read that way. So, yes, I think that’s a really apt way of looking at it.
