Human remains found in Douglas County tied to Mendota Heights missing man, police say

Human remains believed to be those of a missing Mendota Heights man were found Tuesday in Douglas County, Wisconsin.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said they found human remains in a heavily wooded area of the Douglas County Forest near the Town of Summit.

On July 27, search crews found his car in Douglas County, on a trail west of Bear Lake.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Medical Examiner’s Office continue to investigate.
