Support is growing in a west metro school district to increase property taxes to address aging buildings and entice families to attend Robbinsdale Area Schools (RAS).
On the ballot this November for district households is what could be a $413 million bond referendum.

Our buildings are also old, and they’re designed in such a way that they aren’t efficient,” Dr. Staloch said.
Among many things, a major shift should the first of three ballot questions pass would be transforming and renovating Cooper High School to be the lone high school in the district while using Armstrong High School for several different functions.
