Speaking with The Direct while promoting Super Troopers 3, Chandrasekhar indicated that there’s a chance his 2006 comedy Beerfest could get a sequel. “It really depends on if people actually go to the theater for this one [Super Troopers 3]. Simply put, Chandrasekhar said a strong box office performance for Super Troopers 3 could help pave the way for Beerfest 2. Made on a budget of $17.5 million, Beerfest failed to make much of an impact at the box office.
