Mary Elizabeth Brewer Booth, 82, of Statesville, N.C., passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Kentucky, Mary always held a special place in her heart for her hometown of Campton. No matter where life took her, returning to the hills she loved brought her joy and a sense of home. Mary dedicated her life to her family, finding her greatest happiness in being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester Clay Booth; her mother Autney Brewer; brother Jack Brewer; sister Judy Swann; and her great-grandsons, Dallas Booth and Blake Faett.
