Allianz executive joins Markel as London managing directorU.S.-headquartered Markel Insurance Company has appointed Doan Nguyen as managing director of its specialty division in London, succeeding Tom Hillier, who became chief underwriting officer at Markel International Insurance Company Ltd. earlier this year, Insurance Times reported. Nguyen brings more than 18 years of experience and joins from German firm Allianz Commercial, where she most recently served as global head of portfolio solutions.
