Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated Wednesday that maintaining communication with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is currently quite challenging.
Pezeshkian explained, “Engaging with him at this time is very difficult, but his presence remains a vital source of strength for us to carry on.”
Although Khamenei has communicated through written statements, his low profile amidst heightened tensions with the United States has fueled speculation about his relationships with other top officials.
He defended the leader, emphasizing that he has been able to hold meaningful meetings with him, describing those interactions as marked by “kindness and very sound logic.”
Pezeshkian added that unfortunately, some malicious individuals are attempting to depict Khamenei differently, presenting an inaccurate image of him.
