Two separate land fraud cases involving forged ownership documents and fraudulent property transactions have ended in convictions at the Milimani Law Courts following investigations by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). The court convicted the accused on 13 counts, including forgery, uttering false documents and forcible detainer, while more than 40 related charges remain before the courts under separate case files. In a separate matter, another accused person was convicted after fraudulently selling land in Ngong that had originated from an illegal subdivision of a genuine parcel. The convictions come as investigative agencies continue to intensify efforts against fraudulent property transactions.
