In fact, the deal for Monsters of God came together before Chimp Crazy did. "Had we wanted to do that, we could have certainly found really crazy reptile people that are missing fingers from venomous snakes and doing really crazy things." Instead, Goode says, Monsters of God is closer to investigative journalism, tracing the reptile trade back to the 1960s.
