(Contributed photo)The Screen Test mobile mammography service will be visiting the east central Alberta region later in August. Mammograms are X-rays of breast tissue that are used to screen for breast cancer. The main goal of Screen Test is to improve cancer screening for thousands of individuals across the province who do not otherwise have access to the service. Outside of the mobile screening clinics, testing can also be done at select radiology clinics and hospitals across Alberta.
