Abdullahi Garba Ramat has been appointed by President Bola Tinubu as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). According to a statement released on Thursday by Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to the president on information and strategy, the newly appointed NERC boss will assume office in an acting capacity until he is confirmed by the Senate. WITHIN NIGERIA also learned that the president appointed Abubakar Yusuf as commissioner of consumer affairs and Fouad Olayinka Animashun as commissioner of finance and management services for NERC.
