Surveys have already been completed in Boeotia (Viotia) prefecture, in south-central Greece; Argolis (Argolida), in the northeast Peloponnese; western Achaia, in northwestern Peloponnese; Aigialeia, also along the northern Peloponnese coast; and Fokida, in central Greece. Inspections remain underway in western Attica and Rethymno prefecture on the island of Crete. Authorities said additional inspection teams will be deployed to the Vilia municipality in western Attica on Thursday to accelerate the documentation of wildfire damage and speed up assistance to affected residents.
