Police, paramedics, and an air ambulance were called to Yarm Road after a silver Mercedes CLS220 crashed at 8.15am today (August 5). An air ambulance landed at the nearby Preston Park following the crash, with pictures showing the helicopter on the field while firefighters blocked Yarm Road. A North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) spokesperson said: “We received a call at 8.17am on Wednesday, August 5 to reports of a road traffic incident on Yarm Road in Eaglescliffe, Stockton. A Great North Air Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "Our critical care team was activated at 8.20am to reports of a road traffic collision in Eaglescliffe. A Cleveland Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “Cleveland Fire Brigade was called at 8.21am this morning (August 5) to a single vehicle road traffic collision on Yarm Road, Eaglescliffe.
