Emergency services were called to the B1281 Hesleden Road near Blackhall Colliery just before 7.15pm on Sunday (August 2) after a serious two-car crash. The incident - which left one vehicle overturned - took place when a Volkswagen Passat and a Citroen C3, travelling in opposite directions, collided. Today, he has been named as 19-year-old Lucas Littlefair, from Hesleden, a much-loved and treasured son, brother, grandson, and boyfriend. The driver of the Citroen, a 22-year-old woman, was also taken to hospital and discharged.
