Hadid discovered Susamusa, the brainchild of Iran-born, London-based designer Asal Tehrani, when the model was in a Depop hole and shopping for skirts during lockdown. says Tehrani over Zoom from her West London office now. She began sending Hadid samples of her latest slinky slivers of clothing as she moved away from limited-edition archival fabrics to new materials to cater to growing demand. “I just left her to it, and she has supported the brand ever since.”
