Official data from the Kokernag Development Authority (KDA) shows that a total of 30,62,654 visitors visited Kokernag between 2023 and July 2026. The footfall comprised 1,38,319 domestic tourists, 29,23,201 local visitors and 1,134 foreign tourists. According to the official figures, 7,90,451 tourists visited Kokernag in 2023, including 22,253 domestic tourists, 7,67,997 local visitors and 201 foreign tourists. In 2025, Kokernag received 6,12,235 visitors, including 28,532 domestic tourists, 5,83,596 local visitors and 107 foreign tourists. Apart from leisure tourists, Kokernag also attracts students, environmental enthusiasts and photographers who visit the destination to experience its rich biodiversity and tranquil environment.
