Dubai: Residents near Dubai’s Jebel Ali industrial area reported hearing several loud explosions early Wednesday after a fire broke out in the region. According to reports citing Iranian media sources, at least seven explosions were heard over a period of around 20 minutes. The authenticity of some social media videos could not be independently verified. Multiple explosions and thick black smoke hit Dubai's Jebel Ali port and industrial zone overnight. The area includes the Jebel Ali Port and Jebel Ali Free Zone, which host thousands of companies involved in international trade, manufacturing and logistics.
