The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has extended support to the ongoing protest by job aspirants in Jharkhand, with founder Abhijeet Dipke announcing that party members will travel to Ranchi to stand with the students demanding an independent probe into alleged recruitment irregularities. Speaking to reporters before the CJP core committee meeting in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Wednesday, Dipke said the organisation would support every demand raised by the protesters. "We will definitely go to Jharkhand, we will stand with them and support their every demand in the agitation," he said. Job aspirants have been holding an indefinite sit-in at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi since July 29. Dipke said the CJP intends to function as a public pressure group to push for accountability in institutions.
