ALEXANDRIA — Wings Over Alexandria, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is excited to announce its second annual air show on Saturday, Aug. 15, at Alexandria Regional Airport (2604 Aga Dr.).
Wicked Willy Jet Car will thunder down the runway with a genuine aircraft turbine engine reaching speeds over 300 MPH.
"Wings Over Alexandria is all about bringing our community together to celebrate the joy and innovation of flight," Kreg Anderson, president of Wings Over Alexandria, said in a press release.
"Whether you're a seasoned pilot, an aviation enthusiast, or a curious newcomer, there's something for everyone at this year's show.
We're grateful to the 5,000 people who attended in 2025 and excited to welcome even more families and aviation lovers to the Alexandria Municipal Airport."
