BEMIDJI — The Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference invites community members to celebrate the grand opening of the North STAR (Science, Technology, Automation and Robotics) Center at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Beltrami County fairgrounds.
The North STAR Center will serve as a regional hub for science, technology, automation and robotics education, collaboration, and innovation throughout northern Minnesota, a release said.
ADVERTISEMENTThe grand opening will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by an open house, where guests can explore the facility and learn more about opportunities that the center will provide.
An NMRC prize wheel will allow attendees a chance to win giveaways, and a LEGO building table will also be provided.
The grand opening coincides with opening day of the Beltrami County Fair, with admission being free with support from Beltrami Electric Cooperative.
