The incident took place in Bancrofts Road, South Woodham Ferrers, yesterday evening (August 4). Three suspects then reportedly took the boy’s skateboard and threw it over a fence, before fleeing the scene. A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are investigating reports of an assault in Bancrofts Road, South Woodham Ferrers, on Tuesday 4 August. “It was reported the victim, a teenage boy, was approach by several suspects who assaulted him resulting in injuries to his face. “The suspects also reportedly threw his skateboard over a nearby fence before leaving the scene in the direction of the train station.
