Herefordshire Council is delivering a programme of improvements focused on making streets safer for walking, cycling and wheeling in Lugwardine, Bartestree, Hunderton and Belmont.
In Lugwardine and Bartestree, the focus will be on the A438 corridor, with traffic calming, new crossing points, and speed management improvements for residents, visitors, and businesses.
Plans include upgraded crossings near Lugwardine Village Hall and Lugwardine Primary Academy, footway widening, drainage works, and general highway improvements.
Nearby, on Belmont Avenue and Springfield Avenue, the council will install tactile paving, kerb improvements, and upgraded crossing facilities.
Vegetation clearance and shared route improvements will also be completed at Belmont Avenue and Belmont Close.
