Hereford Transport Hub update in county chiefs' big plan
['Joseph Whiteman']
Hereford Times | News
The Big Economic Delivery Plan aims to create new jobs, support businesses, and strengthen the infrastructure needed for future growth across the county.
Actions outlined in the plan include progressing the Western Growth Corridor, supporting future transport improvement, completing the Hereford Transport Hub, and attracting investment into strategic employment sites such as Ross-on-Wye Enterprise Park and Hereford Enterprise Zone.
"The Delivery Plan brings together our ambitions for more better-paid jobs, stronger businesses, improved infrastructure, and thriving communities into a single roadmap.
The plan builds on the Herefordshire Economic Plan 2050 and identifies four key areas for sustainable economic growth: place, people and communities, business growth, and infrastructure.
The Big Economic Delivery Plan was endorsed by Herefordshire Council’s Cabinet on July 30.
