One Nation co-founder David Oldfield said the right-wing party will need to grow beyond leader Pauline Hanson at some stage, but he does not expect a leadership change any time soon. “Pauline is a very active, she is a very athletic woman, and I do not really think she needs to be going anywhere any time soon,” the former politician told ABC’s Afternoon Briefing. “But I don’t like to see the idea of One Nation without Pauline. Hanson, who is 72, has previously suggested her daughter Lee could be the next party leader if she were elected to the Senate. “She looks fit, she looks active, she looks pretty much the same, and quite frankly, she’s more confident than she has ever been,” he said.
