At around 3.30pm on July 23, it was reported to police that two males had approached another two boys, aged 12 and 13, on Giant-branded bikes near the Playhouse theatre on Williamson Square. The males reportedly made threats as they demanded they hand over the bikes, before taking them and making off. On Tuesday night (August 4), a 14-year-old boy from Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of robbery and attempted robbery. A 14-year-old boy who was charged with two counts of robbery yesterday, Tuesday 4 August, has now pleaded guilty to both offences. He has been remanded and will appear at Liverpool Youth Court on Tuesday 25 August.
