Appearing at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 4, Liam Hulley, 36, entered guilty pleas to three offences of making indecent photographs / pseudo-photographs of a child and one of possessing indecent photographs / pseudo-photographs of a child. The court heard that between July 16 2023 and August 19 2025, Hulley, of Frobisher Road, Neston, possessed 280 Category A images of children, 348 Category B images of children and 2,199 Category C images of children. Category A images are deemed the most serious and can include penetrative acts, sadism, bestiality, or physical harm. A pre-sentence report was requested and Hulley was committed to Crown Court for sentencing on conditional bail. He will appear for sentencing at Chester Crown Court on September 15 2026.
