Half Moon Bay's Planning Commission will hold a special meeting Wednesday night to consider zoning changes that supporters say could help pave the way for more housing. The meeting comes weeks after the state of California sued Half Moon Bay and four other cities, alleging they repeatedly failed to complete state-required housing plans. It also follows last month's City Council approval of a controversial five-story affordable housing project on Kelly Avenue for retired and older local farmworkers. The special meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Ted Adcock Community Center.
