HURON EAST – The Municipality of Huron East will receive some help from the province. Huron East will get $14,375 in funding for the Huron East Job and Volunteer Fair, as part of the Rural Ontario Development program. These investments reflect our government’s ongoing commitment to working alongside rural communities to unlock their potential and ensure they continue to thrive,” said Thompson. The Ontario government has invested $5.5 million into 116 projects across rural Ontario. The funds are part of a $20 million investment from the provincial government to strengthen local governments, communities, and organizations.
