Penrith reaped immediate rewards from replacing young five-eighth Talagi with journeyman Cogger for last week's 42-18 thrashing of Canberra. Against Canberra, Cogger struck great chemistry with halfback Nathan Cleary, just as he did during Penrith's comeback to win the 2023 grand final. Last week's win was Cogger's best performance since returning from a two-year stint with the Knights, where things did not click as the playmaker had hoped. "I got on with the people up there really well but just for whatever reason, some environments don't suit you ... that's kind of any job, any workplace," Cogger told AAP. "I think it worked out best for all parties that I was back here ... Wouldn't you join the best workplace?
