ABC 6 News is teaming up with the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester for a school supplies drive to help students get the school year started on the right foot. The Boys & Girls Club of Rochester is collecting school supplies like new backpacks, notebooks, folders, pens, and pencils to help local students prepare for school and be ready to learn. While the primary collection day is Wednesday, August 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., donations will be accepted now through August, 7. ABC 6 News will be at the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester (1026 East Center Street) throughout the entire day on August 5 to help with the drive and bring live coverage of the event in newscasts throughout the day.
