(ABC 6 News)–On Tuesday the Rochester Parks Board approved an informal request for proposals for concession services at Soldiers Field Golf Course. It wasn’t without controversy, as Townies wrote an open letter to the city over the air conditioning issues. Townies concession agreement expires at the end of this year. The informal request for proposals seeks to find different food and beverage operators to see if one fits in better with the city’s goals. We reached out to the city for comment, but said they couldn’t due to a threat of legal action regarding a Facebook post from Townies regarding the air conditioning.
