Broadband provider Brawband says it is back online after engineers worked all day to restore services locally and across Scotland. Fiber Optic cables connected to optic ports and UTP, Network cables connected to ethernet ports. BROADBANDThe provider, run by Inverness-based Highland Network Ltd, first reported issues just after 9am this morning (Wednesday, August 5). Users, including a great many in and around Inverness, were left unable to connect for around eight hours while Brawband’s technical staff carried out a full system rebuild. Initial expectations were for the outage to continue into tomorrow, but at around 5pm today a company update confirmed the issue had been resolved, albeit with some systems potentially still experiencing issues.
