Councillors Jackie Hendry, Kate McLean, Lyndsey Johnston, and Emma Knox (from left to right). Four female councillors voted to remove rapist David Brown’s taxi operator’s licences and were for the first time in weeks able to voice some of their views publicly about the issue. Cllr Hendry said: “But it's going to take time to build up the public trust and I totally understand that and so do my colleagues. When asked about whether some other decisions should also be reviewed, Cllr Knox said the review is understood to be wide-ranging. One male councillor on the committee claimed that information in police reports was insufficient, they were asked if they felt the information was sufficient and Cllrs Hendry, Johnston, Knox and Maclean answered almost in unison.
