Over the years, those have slowed – my sobriety is not novel and is simply part of who I am.
There does seem to be a rising backlash against sobriety.

Indeed, current scepticism around sobriety is perhaps really a reaction to self-improvement culture.
And what we have outside of trends, outside of the pendulum swing, outside of social patterns, is our relationship with ourself.’
