"Since the hosepipe ban was introduced, we've recovered more than 12.5 million litres of water, enough to fill five Olympic-sized swimming pools, using innovative technology to find hidden leaks and repair them quickly." Southern Water has recently invested in new leak detection technologies, including trained detection dogs and trials with fibre optic networks to pinpoint water escaping from underground pipes.
