Credit: Central 55A new social enterprise cafe in East Perth will provide hospitality training and employment opportunities for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness as part of a huge Lotterywest investment.
Over the next two to three years, we aim to establish a sustainable social enterprise that creates meaningful employment opportunities while strengthening support for people experiencing homelessness,” he said.
The second part of the grant will fund the post-refurbishment fit-out and landscaping of 55 Central’s crisis accommodation complex.
“Once complete, it will provide a modern, safe and trauma-informed environment that better supports people experiencing homelessness,” he said.
