The town announced in late July it would trial a reduction in free story time sessions for two to five-year-olds at Cambridge Library, cutting back from two weekly sessions to one. But it has replaced it with a weekly Brazilian Rhymetime program aimed at babies aged from four months to two-year-olds, where parents and children can enjoy songs and rhymes in Portuguese. The Baby Rhymetime program for the same age group continues on Friday mornings.
