Jon Arrowsmith, sole director of Cocker Hoop Creative, which organised the event, faces four charges to do with the organisation and advertising of the festival following an investigation by North Yorkshire Trading Standards. The food and drink festival was due to take place in Skipton between July 18 and July 20 last year, but was cancelled on July 4. At the time Mr Arrowsmith said he was delighted that the festival was going ahead after a year's break. It was also welcomed by North Yorkshire Council, which owns Aireville Park, saying that the authority had worked closely with the organisers to assess the suitability of the site. "When we lost our original location, the clock started ticking, and even with the best will in the world, we simply ran out of time to make it work at Aireville Park."
