Human remains believed to be that of a missing Twin Cities man were located in the Douglas County Forest on August 4th. The heavily wooded area is in the Town of Summit. The 89-year-old man of Mendota Heights went missing from his residence on July 22nd. An extensive ground search by several agencies over the next several days led to the eventual discovery. The Douglas County Sheriff and Medical Examiner’s Office continue the investigation.
