Jakarta's poverty rate ranks as the third lowest nationwide, trailing only Bali, which recorded Indonesia's lowest poverty rate at 3.44 percent, and South Kalimantan at 3.63 percent. Additionally, the poverty line threshold in Jakarta for March 2026 was pegged at Rp925,525 per capita per month. With the average poor household in March 2026 comprising 4.89 members, the official poverty line per poor household in Jakarta reached Rp4,525,817 per month.
