TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated that the price of subsidized Pertalite fuel is guaranteed to remain stable and will not increase through December 2026. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto had previously instructed that subsidized fuel prices remain untouched despite ongoing volatility in global crude oil markets. Effective August 1, 2026, the retail price for Pertamax dropped from Rp16,250 to Rp15,950 per liter, Pertamax Green 95 decreased from Rp17,000 to Rp16,600 per liter, and Pertamax Turbo was reduced from Rp19,300 to Rp18,300 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of subsidized Pertalite remains pegged at Rp10,000 per liter, with Biosolar holding steady at Rp6,800 per liter.
