Hayfield man pleads guilty in juvenile sex abuse case

HAYFIELD, Minn. — A man accused of sexually abusing a juvenile between 2017 and 2023 entered a guilty plea ahead of his hearing scheduled for Aug. 5.
Jason Allen Krueth, 40, was charged in 2025 with six counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a Kasson child.
ADVERTISEMENTAccording to court documents, the juvenile disclosed multiple sexual assaults over time beginning at age 5 or 6.
Krueth pleaded guilty to a single count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct-victim under age 16, multiple acts, in exchange for a presumptive sentence of 7.8-11 years (94-132 months).
