Halfway through my second week as Director of Technology Transfer at the University of Montana, and a big part of my time so far has been spent listening, learning, and figuring out where all the pieces fit. I’ve been talking with people across UM and throughout the community to better understand the programs, resources, expertise, and organizations that make up our innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. I’d genuinely love to grab a coffee, hear what you’re working on, and learn where you see opportunities for UM to connect, collaborate, or simply be a better partner. At the same time, I’ve been rebuilding our Innovation at UM website from the ground up. This week I handed more than 200 pages of organized content over to an amazing member of our communications team.
