Emergency services were called to Aspen Way, near the junction with Preston’s Road, at 3.25am on today (August 5). The East India Dock Road Tunnel and Aspen Way remain closed and enquires are ongoing. Earlier today, there was significant disruption, with traffic backing up past the Canning Town Flyover and the Lower Lea Crossing. The route between the East India Dock Road Tunnel and Prestons Road was heavily affected. Public transport was also impacted, with bus routes D3, SL4, and N550 diverted in both directions via East India Dock Road.
