Officers were called at 1.59pm today (August 5) after a collision involving a Nissan and cyclist on Thorley Street in Bishops Stortford. Emergency services attended the scene, including the ambulance and air ambulance, with road closures put in place. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the cyclist, a man aged in his 60s, died at the scene. “We are continuing to piece together what happened and ask for anyone with information to report it to the police.
